Cynthia Wheeler, Director of Events Sales, Cynthia completed training at the world-renowned Frankie Shelton School of Floral Design in Memphis, Tennessee and the Benz School of Design at Texas A & M. She also has a B.S. in Economics from Missouri State University. Cynthia and the Studio at Cactus Flower team were recognized with a First Place trophy at the NACE Arizona 2007 inaugural tabletop competition. She has won first place in the Teleflora Arizona Surprise Package Competition and was a competitor in the invitation-only California Top Ten Designer Competition. She has been designing since 1995, specializing in events and wedding work.

Anna Starkey, AzMF, Anna’s love of  flowers is expressed through her commitment to excellence in design mechanics, flower knowledge and trend awareness. She is Master Florist with 13 years of experience in floral design, including design competition in the Teleflora Surprise Package competition where she took second place. She is a participant in the Phoenix Art Museum’s Arts & Flowers. As a scholarship recipient, she attended “Creative Edge: Influences from the East” by Hitomi Gilliam, AIFD at the Teleflora Education Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 2007, she was a key design team member for the First Place winning entry in the inaugural NACE Arizona Table Top Competition. Anna is active in the Arizona State Floral Association as a student as well as a class assistant, and you will find her work in numerous competitions.

Tonia Miller, Tonia is one of the youngest rising stars in the design industry. Her signature style is a unique design perspective which focuses on color and line to achieve dramatic concepts. She is the design manager for Cactus Flower’s largest store, inspiring the team with cutting edge floral décor. Tonia’s early training and inspiration came from working side-by-side with her father, Paul Miller, AIFD, PFCI, a well-known design consultant and instructor. She has designed for large events and corporations, as well as influential clients like Preston Bailey, event designer and wedding planner for celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and Donald Trump.

Jodi Jaeggi, Event Sales Coordinator, Jodi Jaeggi is the newest addition to the growing team at The Studio. Jodi brings international flair and experience, after working for a year in London with Colin McGregor, a leading British events designer.  Her trend-spotting skills and fashion-forward thinking contribute to a fresh approach in event planning. Recently married herself, Jodi understands the complexities of executing a perfect event, and is eager to meet with you to bring your visions to life.
